Halcinonide

Halcinonide is a topical corticosteroid used primarily for its anti-inflammatory properties to treat various skin conditions.

Indications

-Eczema -Psoriasis -Dermatitis -Allergic reactions on the skin

Dosage

-Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. -Do not exceed the recommended duration of treatment to avoid potential side effects.

Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to Halcinonide or any component of the formulation -Viral infections such as herpes simplex or varicella -Tuberculous lesions or untreated fungal infections

Special Precautions

-Avoid applying to the face, groin, or axilla unless directed by a doctor. -Do not use under occlusive dressings unless prescribed. -Use with caution in children and pregnant women. -Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reactions occur.

-Skin irritation -Burning sensation -Dryness or peeling -Hypopigmentation (loss of skin color) -Striae (stretch marks) -Systemic absorption leading to possible adrenal suppression
