ENTECAVIR
Hepatitis B
Oral; 0.5mg to 1mg once daily.
HIV infection and hypersensitivity.
Severe acute exacerbations of hepatitis B, Patients co-infected with HIV and HBV' lactic acidosis and hepatomegaly, renal impairment Paediatric: Safety below 16yrs not established. Pregnancy: Category C. Use if risk to fetus out weighs benefits. Lactation: Excreted in milk
Headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, hepatic impairment.
It is excreted by kidney so do not administer drugs which effect kidney function
