Flunisolide

Indications

Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis including fever.

Dosage

Adults: Two sprays into each nostril twice daily. Children: 5 years & above : 1 spray into each nostril up to 3 times daily.

Contra-Indications

Untreated fungal, bacterial or viral infections of the nose or eyes. Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Glucocorticoids may make some signs of infection and new infections may appear during their use. Pregnancy: Not recommended in the first three months.

Side Effects

Taste disturbance. Mild transient nasal burning and stinging.
