LOMEFLOXACIN- EYE

Lomefloxacin ophthalmic solution is a broad spectrum bactericidal agent. It has no cross resistance with other group of antibiotics.

Indications

Bacterial infections of the anterior segment including conjunctivitis, blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis.

Dosage

1 drop into the lower conjunctival sac 2-3 times daily. Duration of treatment: 7-9 days.

Contra-Indications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Long-term treatment may enhance development of secondary fungal infections or growth of non-susceptible bacteria. Pregnancy and lactation: Use only, when the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk.

Side Effects

Slight and transient burning.
